Ship Management Company Hammonia Reederei: Delivery and management takeover of an additional 4.900 TEU Post Panamax container vessel

HAMMONIA Reederei has taken over the technical management of an additional modern 4.900 TEU Post Panamax container vessel. The vessel acuisition was arranged by HAMMONIA Reederei on behalf of third party institutional investors.

HAMMONIA also acted as yard supervisor before delivery. The vessel was delivered in January 2015 and initiated her time charter with a leading container liner company.

The newly christened vessel joins five other similar eco-ships in HAMMONIA´s fleet, M/V "HAMMONIA ISTRIA", M/V "HAMMONIA TOSCANA", M/V "HAMMONIA AMERICA", M/V "HAMMONIA VIRGINIA", and M/V "SAPPHIRE". Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, which is already in charge of the chartering of then ships in the same 5.000 TEU wide beam segment, will act as the exclusive charter broker of the ship.
