Management takeover of 1 x 10.000 TEU and 2 x 8.400 TEU container vessels

HAMMONIA Reederei has taken over the management of three Post-Panamax container ships. The vessels M/V "ZIM CHICAGO", M/V "ZIM DJIBOUTI" and M/V "ZIM LOS ANGELES" have been taken over on the 25th of July 2014, on the 6th of August 2014 and on the 7th of August 2014, respectively.

 

HAMMONIA Reederei has taken over the management of three Post-Panamax container ships. The vessels M/V "ZIM CHICAGO" (8.400 TEU), M/V "ZIM DJIBOUTI" (10.000 TEU) and M/V "ZIM LOS ANGELES" (8.400 TEU) have been taken over on the 25th of July 2014, on the 6th of August 2014 and on the 7th of August 2014, respectively.

The three vessels were built in 2009 and 2010 by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in Korea. They are owned by US-based institutional investors and have long term charters with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services.

The two 8.400 TEU vessels join six other similar-sized ships in HAMMNIA´s fleet. The 10.000 TEU "ZIM DJIBOUTI" becomes the largest ship under HAMMONIA´s management. The size of HAMMONIA´s managed fleet increases to 70 ships, thereof 52 container, 2 dry bulk and 16 multipurpose (MPP) ships.
