HAMMONIA Reederei manages heavy lift ships

The Hamburg-based HAMMONIA Reederei will take over the management of six Ecolift F-900 heavy lift ships. The vessels will be built by the Chinese shipyards Hudong and Huangpu Wenchong and will be long-term chartered to Intermarine.

Owner are the Chinese state-owned CSSC.

The twelve cranes will be deliverd by MacGregor, which belongs to the Finnish group Cargotec. Each vessel will have a combined lifting capacity of 900 tons. The 13,300 dwt vessels will be delivered starting from the summer of 2017. There are options for building other four sister ships.

Hammonia´s fleet comprises about 60 vessels wiht the bulk of them being container ships.
